tutorial 9 (special effect)

Lesson of today is SPECIAL EFFECT.
In Photoshop, that's great tools that make good special effects.
Filter, that is it.
I chose the picture of sidedoor.
Well, I like flowers. That's explain why.

Let's get it started, peeps!

1. Open the file image and duplicate the image twice.
Ctrl + Alt + J

2. Highlight the first layer copy, go to Filter > Blur > Motion Blur
I choose Angle : 45 , Distance : 252 pixels
Select the other layer copy, do the same steps but change the Angle : -45

3. Merge the two layer copies by selecting them and hit Ctrl + E
Select Brush Tool ( Soft Round 60 Pixels) and brush the flower pot.
This creates a clear image of flower pot, not blur.

4. Go to Layer > Adjustment > Level
Adjust the levels.

5. Go to Filter > Texture > Water Colour
Brush Detail : 11
Shadow Intensity : 4
Texture : 3

6.Go to Filter > Render > Cloud

7. Next, select Gradient Map at the New Adjustment Layer below the layer bar (the black and white icon), choose Black, White and click Dither.

8. Select Brush Tool (Hard Round 60 Pixels) and brush the flower pot.

9. To create a polaroid photo, go to Image > Canvas Size
Add 4 cm for Width and Height and done.
Again, go to Image > Canvas Size
Add more 4 cm for Height.

10. Lastly, use Text Tool
Text Font : Gigi

Good luck!
